Hong Kong Is the ?Priority? - Lamy

Geneva * New Director General of the World Trade Organization * Pascal Lamy * yesterday declared that the sixth ministerial meeting in Hong Kong set for mid-December remains his "priority number one" * but conceded that he does not have a "magic wand" to galvanize the much-delayed Doha Development Agenda trade negotiations (WTD, 8/30/05).
Before being heralded into office yesterday, Mr. Lamy told journalists that success at Hong Kong will ultimately depend on the trade body
